The Talk Shop has been in operation since August of 2006. We have been in a number in guises...none the less, we are still in operation and have started a fresh with a complete clean slate since March 21, 2010.
Talk Shop was started by Pat Fitzgerald in memory of his son Darren. We are a multi-national community that is dedicated to providing supportive discussion forums for:
- Loss of a child
- Loss of a Parent
- Loss of a sibling, Friend, Partner and Grandparent and any other loved one.
As well as several other discussion zones....such as personal poetry, prayer requests and you are able to post your online Memorial page so we can visit and show our encouragement and support.
Basically, we accept almost anyone here who are willing to accept and honor our guidelines of clean postings without judgement. We also reserve the right to deny anyone or thier posts if they are deemed not suitable.
Here you should find others who are understanding and suppotive of your reason for being here. As a community spirit we hope you find that our motto is:
"Helping Ourselves by Helping Others"
